With parlay bets, the betslip will combine the odds of each contest and provide a bit more depending on the number of legs because of the additional risk associated.

For a parlay to succeed, all legs must win. If even one leg loses, the entire parlay loses.

There’s a menu toward the middle of the app that’s like a carousel in that it changes every few seconds showing the latest offers, which is quite eye-catching—no complaints about the appearance.
• App Layout: Starting at the top, you’ll see the log-in/registration links in the upper right, and in the upper left, you’ll find a collapsible menu. This menu has links to everything you see on the left side of the desktop page, including links to sports, promotions, BetFeed, live betting, and more. There’s a horizontal menu on the homepage for sports and live betting, followed by promotions. On the homepage, you’ll see the featured live games. The bottom of the app has a menu to go back to the homepage, live betting, search for sports, and promotions. The layout is simple and easy to follow, which is a success in our book.
• Bet slip and Building a Bet: When you’ve found the contest you want to bet on and select it, a miniature version of the betslip will appear at the bottom o the app. You’ll see the odds, a place to input your wager, the payout amount, and an option to open up the full bet slip. You’ll see options for single, parlay, and round robin bets when you open it up. There’s also a calculator-like appearance for inputting the amount you want to wager, with options to add $5, $10, or $50. The bet slip will also have a drop-down that shows “People who bet on this also bet on…” and offers other bets you may be interested in based on the one you made—a pretty exciting feature!
• Live Betting: Live betting is available and is accessible through the menu at the bottom of the app, on the homepage, or the collapsible menu in the upper left corner of the app. Here, you’ll see a menu along the top with the number of games available in each sport. When you click on the game, you’ll know the score, but there aren’t any features showing live updates happening in the game. You’ll also find all of the available betting options. This is a relatively rudimentary live betting page compared to other betting sites, but it’s OK.
• Speed/Stability: When looking over this app, we didn’t run into any lag or buffering, even going from page to page. We tried the equivalent of a “stress test,” meaning we tried to click on as many pages as quickly as possible, and the app handled it well.

Mobile Web

If you’d like, you can access SI Sportsbook through your mobile web browser. The nice thing about this, especially coming off of looking at the mobile app, is that the mobile web browser is identical to the mobile app.

So if you can’t access the mobile app for whatever reason, you’ll already know how to use the mobile browser version as it’s a direct carbon copy.

Sports Illustrated Sportsbook is legal in three states and is the product of a collaboration with 888. There are some flaws here in terms of the lack of live chat customer support, a less-than-stellar live betting page, and somewhat-high minimum odds on the welcome bonus, but other than that, it’s hard to find much to complain about.
