New York, Maryland, and Washington D.C. revealed massive betting handles for the month of March that exceeded their previous record highs. New York, the nation’s leader in online sports betting, produced $230 million in revenue from casinos and legal and online sports betting sites.

The ad is part of FanDuel’s “Think Like a Player” campaign. It depicts Barkley, the 1993 MVP and now a popular television analyst, encouraging bettors to “think like a player” when they are loading up their favorite sportsbooks.

Many thought this legalized sports betting bill was destined to fail after a similar bill went through the Kentucky House only for the Senate to kill it with a lack of support from the more traditional GOP caucus in the Bluegrass State.
