The Stanley Cup Finals are set to kick off this Saturday, which means now is a great chance to lock in your Conn Smythe Trophy bets are NHL betting sites. While Oilers superstar Connor McDavid enters as a consensus favorite, we think there are three others who could swoop in to win it over the final series of the NHL season.

Below, we will share the three players our US Legal Sports Betting experts are betting on to win the award. We’ll give you the latest odds, insights, and everything else you need to bet confidently on betting apps this weekend.

Sergei Bobrovsky – G Florida Panthers

If you aren’t willing to bet on McDavid at his current price, we highly recommend looking at Panthers’ goalie Sergei Bobrovsky. Playoff Bob has once again lived up to his nickname, allowing 2.20 goals per game while saving 90.8% of shots over 17 games. The goalie was a big reason why they were able to get past the Rangers.

One big advantage Bobrovsky has over the rest of the field is that he could be the one to shut McDavid down. The Edmonton center is one of the best offensive players in history, making shutting him down a feat worthy of the Conn Smythe trophy. While there is no guarantee the veteran netminder can shut McDavid and Leon Draisaitl down, the opportunity makes him a tempting bet at his current price.

Matthew Tkachuk – LW Florida Panthers

This is a fantastic price for the leader of the Florida Panthers. Matthew Tkachuk has revolutionized this team since being traded for two years ago. He leads the team in points during the postseason, with five goals and 14 assists. He isn’t putting up anywhere close to the numbers as a few Oilers players, but that won’t matter if the Panthers win the series.

There are a lot of stats we can point to, but the biggest reason we love Tkachuk is that he seems to always rise to occasion. He is a vocal leader that can be a nightmare for opponents when he gets going. Tkachuk is a big game player, and there is no bigger stage than the Stanley Cup Finals.

Leon Draisaitl – C Edmonton Oilers

Connor McDavid is a generational talent, but Leon Draisaitl is also one of the best centers in the league. He plays on the second line for Edmonton but has posted 100+ points in five of his previous six seasons. While McDavid once again leads the team in postseason points, Draisaitl is once again right behind him.

We will admit it is risky to take Draisaitl over McDavid. There is no question he can put up Conn Smythe-worthy numbers. McDavid could fail to live up to the very high expectations set for him, which could lead voters to go with Draisaitl if he plays well. Given how good the Panthers have been on defense, a big offensive run for any Edmonton player will be given a lot of weight when it comes time to select a winner for the award.
