We are just not sold on the Niners. As good as they were in the postseason, they have not looked the same in their two playoff games. They should have lost to the Packers, which should have woken them up. That didn’t happen as the same problems emerged against Detroit. Now they will face a Chiefs team that have the experience of winning last year’s Super Bowl.

The key to this matchup will be defense. Both units were considered to be among the best in the league, but only the Chiefs have looked like it in postseason. We have seen Purdy show cracks against good defense, and he will be facing one of the best on Sunday.

He can put an end to that talk with a big showing in the Super Bowl.
