Lionel Messi and Inter Miami will look to make it three straight wins with a visit to the last-place New England Revolution. The game kicks off at Gillette Stadium in Boston, MA at 7:30 p.m. EST this Saturday, April 27. New England, meanwhile, has lost three straight and sits in last place in the East. The Revolution hope to pull of an upset that sees them walk away with at least a point.

Inter Miami vs New England Revolution Analysis
Inter Miami
Miami has had an incredible start to its season, soaring to the top of the table with 18 points in 10 games. After two big wins in a row vs Sporting Kansas City on the road and Nashville SC at home, the Herons will have a much easier task in defeating the Revolution. With Messi healthy and available, you can expect another record-setting crowd, with more than 64,000 fans projected to attend this lopsided matchup.
Team News: Inter will be without a number of key players including defenders Ian Fray, Jordi Alba, and Sergiy Kryvtsov, midfielders Facundo Farias, Robbie Robinson, Federico Redondo, and Robert Taylor, and forward Leonardo Campana.
Predicted Lineup:
Goalie: Drake Callender
Defense: Nicolas Freire, Tomas Aviles, Franco Negri, Marcelo Weigandt
Midfield: Sergio Busquets, David Ruiz, Julian Gressel. Forwards: Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Diego Gomez.
New England Revolution
The Revs have had a severely disappointing open to their MLS season. Entering this season the team hoped to build off of its impressive finish last year, but that dream has yet to materialize. Although he has yet to announce any official changes to the lineup, expect New England head man Caleb Porter to mix things up if his team continues to lose at such a high rate.
Team News: Three New England players will miss Saturday’s match vs. Inter Miami: Dylan Borrero, Brandon Bye, and Peyton Miller.
Predicted Lineup:
Goalie: Henrich Ravas
Defense: Nick Lima, Andrew Farrell, Henry Kessler, Ryan Spaulding
Midfield: Noel Buck, Matt Polster
Forwards: Nacho Gil, Carles Gil, Esmir Bajraktarevic
Giacomo Vrioni

Inter Miami vs New England Match Prediction
While Inter Miami vs. New England is expected to be the most well-attended match of this young MLS season, these two teams are on polar opposite trajectories. The Revs are quickly losing hope they’ll be able to meet last year’s 5th-place finish, currently dead last in the conference. The Herons, however, are listed as one of the favorites across the top sports betting sites to compete for the MLS title.
Tata Martino’s squad has combined veteran superstar talents such as Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets with a number of up-and-coming youngsters such as 21-year-old Argentine midfielder Fernando Redondo. Redondo likely won’t be available in this one, however, as he nurses an injured knee. In fact, he’s one of a number of key players that will be sidelined for Miami, a major reason the visiting side isn’t more heavily favored.
Still, Miami leads the league in goals scored with 22, largely based on their superior passing skills reminiscent of Messi’s days in Barcelona. The Herons have 31 assists on the season, seven more than the Portland Timbers who have recorded the second-most.
The Revolution have been much stronger in the back than when attacking, however they’ll have their hands more than full with the league’s best attack.
Inter Miami vs New England Best Bet:
Inter Miami Moneyline (+110) | DraftKings
These teams could not be further apart in the early season. Inter Miami has all the momentum after a few big victories and Lionel Messi rounding in true form. With the Revolution’s anemic offense, one goal from Miami’s potent front line could essentially end the Revs’ chances of earning 3 points. I’ll take Miami on the moneyline for plus-money.
