The Michigan Gaming Control Board issued a cease-and-desist letter to Harp Media B.V., which operates the Bovada online casino. They will now have to shut down their Michigan platform within 14 days or risk further legal action being taken.

The company purchased PointsBet’s North American assets, including licenses, last year. As the license transfers were processed and the company was approved for launch, it's been able to slowly expand its reach across the country.
