Sportsbook promotions are one of the ways that operators entice bettors and convince them to use their outlets. They have been extremely popular ever since the inception of legal sports betting in America and have become more and more creative, leading to deals such as FanDuel’s with NFL Sunday Ticket.
Mike Raffensperger, FanDuel’s Chief Commercial Officer, spoke glowingly of the new opportunity FanDuel is giving users.
“Partnering with YouTube to help deliver NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube and YouTube TV to our customers places FanDuel squarely at the intersection of one of the most valued sports and media offerings in the world,” said Raffensperger. “This partnership makes FanDuel the only category partner making it easier for fans to access every out-of-market Sunday afternoon NFL game and elevates the sports betting and entertainment experience for millions of fans across the United States.”
On top of the $100 discount code, users will also have $200 of bonus bets at their disposal. Bonus bets are essentially tokens that act as currency on FanDuel but cannot be redeemed for cash. They can, however, be used as a stake for a wager and will win cash if the bet hits.
FanDuel is the American leader in sports betting. Eilers & Krejcik Gaming analyst Chris Krafcik said that the Flutter-owned platform holds a 44% share of the market, which easily bests all of its competitors.
NFL betting and the NFL season will get underway on Thursday, September 7, when the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs host the Detroit Lions on Thursday Night Football.
