According to an agent with the Minnesota Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Division (AGED), two men are charging a 25% premium to place bets at slot machines in Minnesota casinos on behalf of their followers. They record the bets being placed and the eventual outcome and broadcast it for everyone to see.

Anthony Grant, head coach at the University of Dayton, spoke at a Tuesday press conference on threats and other negative comments that the Flyers have received online since the market launched on New Year’s day, telling critics “we don’t need you.”

The anonymous gambler placed a live bet with -12500 odds, meaning that they would have profited just $11,000 from their enormous bet. Much to the bettor’s assured horror, the Chargers blew a 27-0 lead and lost 31-30 eliminating them from playoff contention.

The group of policymakers has proposed a bill that would allow sports betting and poker in Oahu, the most-populated Hawaiian island, but bans the top operators in the industry from joining the market. This means that FanDuel, DraftKings, and other gambling giants would be locked out.

The lawsuit was levied by Angelica Limcaco, an ex-salon manager at Wynn Las Vegas. She previously sued him in 2018 for alleged sexual harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. The 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals ultimately rejected the woman’s case.

Now, he is back to try his hand as a kicker. If he converts from 25 yards, he will win FanDuel bettors $10 million in free bets, and if he misses, well, let’s hope he practiced his smile.

Sen. Tony Luetkemeyer (R-MO) has already pre-filed Senate Bill (SB) 30, which he says would create $10-20 million in funding for Missouri schools through the legalization of sports betting. Several other policymakers are backing the effort as Missouri looks to join six of its eight neighboring states.
